About Dr Stuti Joshi
Dr Joshi brings around two decades of medical experience to the Batemans Bay community, where she has been proudly practising since 2014. After graduating from Gujarat University (India), she began her Australian medical journey in Newcastle, working at The Mater and John Hunter Hospitals, followed by Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. She then moved to Batemans Bay as a general practice registrar to pursue further training and has continued her work with the practice ever since.
Dr Joshi has a warm, approachable style and is passionate about supporting families across all stages of life. She has special interests in children’s health, women’s health, aged care, chronic disease management and metabolic health. Her focus is on building long‑term relationships with patients, understanding their individual needs, and promoting healthier lifestyles within the community. She is dedicated to making healthcare accessible, supportive and empowering for everyone who walks through the clinic doors.
Coming from a family of teachers, Dr Joshi commenced her medical education career in early 2017 with the former GPSynergy program and continued in her role of Senior Medical Educator with the RACGP through the transition to the College-led training. She has a strong interest in medical education and in supporting registrars’ professional and personal development including pastoral care. She also serves as an examiner and a clinical supervisor and is further developing her interest in supervisor education and training.
