Billing and Service Policy
We are a private practice and don't bulk bill.
We expect payment at the time of consultation. We have EFTPOS facilities. The majority of your fees can be claimed back from Medicare.
*Please Note: Non–Attendance Fee of $25 applies to missed appointments. We require at least 2 hours notice to cancel an appointment or the Non-Attendance fee will apply.
Telephoning the Doctor: Phone consults are available if you are unwell, ??? suspected Covid. Should you need to speak to your GP via the telephone and he/she is with a patient, a message will be taken & relayed to the GP. Your GP will return your call as soon as practicable. In the case of an emergency situation, your call will be put through or you should call an ambulance on 000
Repeat Prescriptions: These require a consultation and review.
Test Results: If a doctor requires a follow up appointment with you in regards to recent test results, the reception staff will contact you on behalf of the doctor to arrange this. If test results come back to the doctor and they require no action you will not be contacted. If you would like the results of a test that you have had done the reception staff are able to provide these after they have been reviewed by the doctor.
